We raise funds that go toward purchasing hearing aids, sound amplification systems in public buildings, safety equipment essential to the hearing-impaired community, including vibrating and lighted smoke detectors and doorbells. We provide supplies and events for students and teachers in the local school system and offer educational and camp scholarships.
We contribute to charitable organizations, including our local YMCA, the Salvation Army, SONS Outreach, the Food Depot, Kids in Distress CAN Council and more, and provide assistance to disadvantaged families in the St. Clair County community.
We have installed Hearing Loop Systems in McMorran Place, the Citadel Stage, Blue Water Convention Center and most recently, we donated funds to help the River Bank Theatre installation.
We hold fundraisers, complete hands-on projects, donate volunteer hours and are also supported by donations and memorials.

To name just a few fundraisers, we've held raffles, bowl-a-thons, golf outings, garage sales, tee shirt sales and auctions. Hands-on projects such as making quilts and service efforts, such as stocking shelves at the Salvation Army or Food Depot are popular with our members.
